We're Already Ready for National Donut Day!

When it comes to donuts, is there honestly anything like the real thing?! You know, that fluffy-little-fried-bundle-of-dough-heaven?! Maybe not, BUT, I know many mamas and humans who are gluten-free or dairy-free for allergy/dietary/health reasons, and others who are eating clean and chose to stray away from the "real thing."

That being said, NO ONE should go donut-less on National Donut Day on November 5th, so here is a round-up of 10 of my fav donut recipes that you can make at home. A few are my own recipes, and a few are some of my fellow food blogger's; I hope you love them as much as my son and I do! Whether you're vegan, egg-free, gluten-free, or dairy-free, there are recipes here that work for all (and some are so cute and festive like these acorn donut holes).

P.S. - The fact you can even bake healthy(ish) donuts and/or allergy-friendly treats is SO fun to do with your little(s). So is shopping at a donut shop, but, if that doesn't fit your family's lifestyle or dietary needs, get in the kitch and get baking! Plus, nearly all of these are baked, which is way easier (and healthier) than deep-frying! Win-win.
